"Do what you love, and the money will follow. Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts

Our motivation

CHANGE was inspired in 2012 when the founder, Wan Djawad, a consulting engineer, observed the majority job applicants received by his company was lacking the quality needed to be considered for hiring.

Concerned by the waste of human resources resulting from dismal CV's and under-performing interview sessions, CHANGE was initiated to provide consultation and training services to local graduates to improve their employability and help transform Malaysia as a country producing quality work force. In line with the government's Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), we would like to do our part in turning Malaysia into a high-income nation by 2020.

"The way in which Malaysia grows to achieve this high-income target will be inclusive in nature, enabling all Malaysians to share in the benefits."

As graduates in the professional field increase over the years, the hunt for a high paying job seems to be the priority of many young graduates. The severity of this can be observed in the pattern of young professionals ‘jumping’ between jobs and companies. This however is mirrored in the lower spectrum by under-performing graduates who are unable to secure or even maintain a job due to poor self presentation during interviews as well as the lack of exposure and knowledge on ways to prepare a good resume. Often graduates who have what it takes on paper fails to project the expected level of self confidence or proper attitude for the position that is being pursued. The lack of communication skills in the form of poor mastery of both English and Bahasa Malaysia has proven to be the leading cause for graduates failing to secure and maintain a job.

Why Us?

Graduates with the wrong set of attitude is also contributing to the dampening of the Malaysian local industries. Inexperience and misconception towards the working environment is lowering the quality of local workforce. These issues need to be addressed if we plan to be a high income nation as stipulated in the Economic Transformation Program by the Government of Malaysia.
